Hiring Outfits
Outfits can only be hired within the Cardiff and surrounding area.
The post code areas covered by this service are CF5, CF10, CF11, CF24, CF63 and CF64.
We want to change the way people think about hiring fancy dress.
Here at Centre Stage we are seasoned costume hirers and the two things that annoy us most are the inconvenient opening hours of fancy dress outlets and the quality of the outfits. So we aim to remedy these problems.
Free Delivery To and Collection From Your Door
You can browse our website at any time of the day or night to choose and book your hire outfit and accessories in comfort. We will then deliver them to your door on the Friday evening of your choice ( or to your place of work on the Friday afternoon of your choice if you prefer). We will then collect them from the same place either on Monday afternoon or evening. And this is all included in the hire price! The hire price quoted is for up to 4 consecutive days' rental.
If your event is not on a weekend or if you wish to rent the costume for more than 4 days, please
contact us so we can make arrangements to suit you.
Quality Counts
Almost all of our hire outfits are handmade here in the UK. Every ruffle, every detail is sewn on by hand by highly skilled seamstresses. Our outfits have zips and buttons, not patches of velcro. Instead of an "all-in-one", pull-on outfit, ours will have the trousers, the shirt and the jacket as separate items so that if you get hot, you can take the jacket off - and when nature calls, it's not such a struggle, or so revealing!! It also means that if you damage one part of the outfit you do not have to pay for replacing the whole thing - so everyone wins.
Catering for All Sizes
Because most of our hire outfits are handmade, we can source outfits to order. Ideally we need 4-6 weeks notice but sometimes it can be quicker, depending on the time of year. Simply give us a ring or send us an email with details of the outfit and the size you are looking for and we will come back to you with details of how we can help. If it is an outfit that is on our website, the hire price will always be the same and will be payable (non-returnable) when we order the item to be made. The deposit will not be taken until the time of hiring i.e. not when you order the item, and may occasionally be higher to cover the actual cost of the item. However, this is returned in full when the item is returned in full and undamaged.
If you require a variation of one of our outfits we will always quote you the hire price before we order.
