By confirming your order you accept the following Terms and Conditions:
SALES POLICY
1. We are Centre Stage Fancy Dress, hereafter referred to as “Centre Stage”.
2. Any order is only deemed as accepted when full payment has been received and the goods despatched. Any email or any acknowledgement of an order prior to this does not constitute acceptance of the order. If we are unable to accept or fulfill your order we will make every endeavour to inform you of this within 2 working days of the placement of the order.
3. All the products on the website are subject to availability. We do not guarantee that all items shown on the website are in stock and are available and ready for dispatch. Display of an item on the website is not an indication that the item is in stock. If the item you have chosen is not in stock we will try to contact you within 2 working days to inform you of the situation. However, at busy times of the year including prior to Halloween and Christmas we cannot guarantee to contact you within this time.
4.Cancellations and Refunds
You have the right to cancel an order at any time. Instruction to cancel must be received in writing and must quote the reference number you received when placing the order. However, if the goods have already been processed and despatched we will not refund the packing and postage charges. Full refund of the goods will be made on receipt by Centre Stage of the goods in their original packaging, unopened, undamaged and with the tamper seals intact. You are responsible for paying the return postage and ensuring the safe return of the goods to Centre Stage. Centre Stage is not liable or responsible should the goods not reach us for any reason. You may return any item to us provided it has not been used or worn and the tamper seals are in place where tamper seals are provided. Goods must be returned to us within 7 days of your receipt of the goods. You are responsible for paying the return postage and ensuring the safe return of the goods to Centre Stage. Centre Stage is not liable or responsible should the goods not reach us for any reason.
It should be noted that most fancy dress costumes, except the deluxe range, are made of llight, flimsy material and are only intended for wearing once. Therefore, refunds cannot be given should the garment not be suitable for wear after the first wear.
5. In the event of defective items or if you are not satisfied
Should you not be satisfied with our goods, please contact us immediately so that we can take action to amend the situation. Should the goods be defective in any way, please inform us immediately and return to us. In this case a full refund will be given.
None of the above affects your statutory rights.
6. Payment Processing and Pricing
Your credit/debit card will be validated prior to acceptance of your order. Should your card be declined for any reason, the order will not be accepted and we will contact you by email or phone using the contact details you have provided. Centre Stage does not accept responsibility should we be unable to reach you.
Centre Stage and our payment processing partner take every precaution to protect the confidentiality of your payment card details. However, Centre Stage cannot be held liable if these details are intercepted by and used by third parties through no fault of our own.
The prices quoted on the website are subject to change from time to time. The price shown on your order and, therefore, on the website at the time of ordering, is the price you will be charged, irrespective of any price increase or decrease that may occur in the intervening time between order placement and the goods being despatched. The prices shown against each item include VAT where applicable but does not include postage and packing charges.
We make every endeavour to ensure that all information and prices on the website are accurate and current. However, Centre Stage is not liable for any occurrences due to any errors that may appear to the fullest extent permitted by law. Your statutory and consumer rights are not affected.
7. Delivery, Postage and Packaging
The time for delivery of your order varies according to your chosen method of shipment and we have no control over the goods once they are shipped and, therefore, cannot guarantee that your order will arrive within the time specified by your chosen method of shipment. However Centre Stage will make every endeavour to ensure you receive the items within 7 working days of order placement. We will not refund any charges relating to packing and shipping if you fail to take delivery of the goods at the address given by you on your order.
8. The Product
Every effort is made to reproduce colours on the site as accurately as possible but different computers reproduce colours in slightly different ways and so exact colour matches are not possible over the Internet. Because of the type of products we offer, there can occassionally be minor variations in colour and style from the descriptions and pictures on the website. If this causes dissatisfaction we will provide a full refund, providing the item has not been used and is returned in its original packaging with, where possible, the tamper seals intact
9. This Contract is deemed to have been made under the laws of the UK and the parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the British courts as regards any claim, dispute or matter arising out of or relating to this Contract.
HIRING POLICY
1. Definitions
”The Company” means “Centre Stage Fancy Dress”. ‘The Hirer’ means any company or individual who agrees to hire a costume and/or accessories. ‘The Goods’ means costumes and accessories that the hirer has agreed to hire. The Hirer accepts that these conditions shall govern relations between him and The Company to the exclusion of any other terms including, without limitation, conditions and warranties written or oral express or implied even if contained in any of the Hirers documents which purports to provide that the Hirer’s own terms shall prevail. No variation or qualification of these conditions or of any quotation or contract arising herefrom shall be valid unless agreed in writing by an authorised employee of The Comapny.
2. Prices
The price charged will be the price shown on the website that is current at date of ordering. The Goods will not be deemed as having been ordered until payment is received along with the requested deposit . The price quoted on the website is for a 4-day hire from Friday to Monday unless otherwise agreed in writing between The Hirer and The Company.

2. Delivery
The Goods will be delivered by The Company or an agent of The Company to the address and during the timeslot agreed between The Hirer and The Company. The Goods will be collected by The Company or an agent of The Company from the address and during the timeslot agreed between The Hirer and The Company.
If for any reason it is not possible to deliver the ordered Goods, The Company will make every endeavour to provide alternative Goods of the same or higher quality at the same price and will inform The Hirer of any such substitution.
If for any reason The Company is not able to comply with the agreed timeslot, The Company will inform The Hirer immediately and arrange for an alternative delivery time, and address if necessary, at no extra cost to the Hirer.
The Hirer shall examine the Goods carefully upon receipt and shall immediately notify The Company of any defect. If The Hirer does not notify the Company immediately of any defect, The Company reserves the right to reject any subsequent claims arising from the defect.
The Company cannot accept responsibility for the Hirer ordering the wrong size. However, The Company will make every endeavour to rectify such a problem if notified immediately of the problem.
The Company will not be liable for any loss suffered by the Hirer as a result of default in delivery as a result of circumstances outside The Company’s reasonable control including but without limitation to the non return or damage of the goods by another hirer.
Should the Hirer not be available to accept the Goods at the time and address agreed between The Company and The Hirer and does not advise The Company of this in advance then The Company reserves the right to hire the goods to any other person and shall not be liable to the Hirer for any loss suffered as a result of such hiring of goods. No refund of the price will be available in such cases. A full refund of the deposit less the transaction charges for the refund will be given.
The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure in carrying out its obligations which is caused wholly or partly by reason of Acts of God, delay in transportation, labour disputes, fire, flood, war, accident, government action or any other cause beyond The Company’s control.
3. Payment, Deposit and Refunds
Payment for The Goods shall be made via the website. In addition The Company will require the Hirer to pay a deposit via the website which will be refundable upon return of the goods provided that they are returned complete and undamaged. The Company reserves the right to make reasonable deductions from the deposit in the event that The Goods are not returned in their entirety or in satisfactory condition. The deposit does not necessarily reflect the value of The Goods therefore if The Goods are lost or stolen or not returned The Company will be entitled to recover the full cost of The Goods over and above the deposit. The Company also reserves the right to deduct ten pounds for each day the Hirer retains The Goods after the date of return as specified on the contract order. In cases of non-return of the goods, four days after the date of return The Company reserves the right to retain the entire deposit but without prejudice to any other rights The Company may have against the Hirer.
4. Ownership of The Goods
The Goods shall remain the property of The Company at all times and in no circumstance will ownership pass to the Hirer and the Hirer shall keep the goods as bailey for the shop.
5. Hirer's Obligation
The Hirer undertakes to use his/her best endeavours to preserve and protect The Goods and to return The Goods to The Company on the return date and from the return address specified in writing on the Contract order in the same condition as when they were delivered to the Hirer.
5. Limitation of The Company's Liability
The Company shall in no circumstance be liable for any loss or damage in excess of the sum of the contract price and the deposit in this limitation will apply in the case of a breach of a fundamental term or repudiation by The Company.
6. Law and Interpretation
This contract shall be governed by UK law and the Hirer shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UK. If any of these conditions or any part thereof is inferred void or unenforceable by legislation it shall be void and unenforceable to that extent and no further.
